Multi-Board Overview

You can set up Bottango control boards to communicate with each other. On its own, this allows you to create a low-latency wireless connection point from your computer to other control boards not directly connected to your computer via USB. With the wired RS485 option, you can daisy-chain boards rather than relying on a unique USB connection for each board.

Note

The pages in this guide are focused on multi-board projects where a connected computer still serves out animations. When combining multi-board communication with exporting and standalone playback functionality, the result is a multi-board standalone show controller, which is covered in more detail in the next guide.
